During this time both Astronauts stayed out of the space station for 5 hours 26 minutes.

According to the information given by NASA, astronaut Sunita Williams has crossed 60 hours and 21 minutes at the time of spacewalk in space for the most time of former astronaut Paigi Whitson. She surpassed Whitson’s record by a female astronaut in case of spacewalk. According to NASA, the total time of the spacewalk performed by Williams is 62 hours and 6 minutes, which ranks fourth in the alltime list of NASA.

Both astronauts are stranded at space station since June

Sunita Williams and Wilmore went on an ISS’s eight -day mission in June 2024 riding on the Starlineer of Boeing. However, both got trapped there after technical fault. He has not been able to return due to technical problems like helium leakage and threster malfunction in Starlineer. NASA plans to bring him back to Earth through a spacecraft built by Boeing’s rival company SpaceX at the end of March.
